Britain's Next Top Dog 

What is it?

 

Well, it’s exactly what it says on the tin and, why not start a new trend? The Britain's Next Top Dog Competition, is the what I’m calling the, dog version of ‘Britains Next Top Model’. I had a lightbulb moment not too long ago after the pet of the year competition I used to do, which I stopped doing due to lack of interest (that competition was limited to pets that had had a session with me before during the year before, whereas this one is going to be open to all) and the idea literally just popped into my head. I don’t believe any other pet photographer in the area does any competition like this and I think it would be fun to do alongside Breed of the Month. You can enter your dog online, and a winner will be chosen at random via a name generator. Your dog will gain the title Britains Top Dog 2024, I mean that will look good in their instagram bio (if they have one). Last year, in 2023 it was called Cumbria's Next Top Dog Model and was only open to Cumbrian dogs. However, i have decided to open the competition up to the whole of Britain. If the competition is a huge hit, then I will bring it back next year, and your dog will be able to enter again, do you think they’d be lucky enough to hold their title? 

 

Your dog will not need to be well trained, and they can remain on their leads, I can do some pretty cool and impressive things in photoshop that will make your dog look like an angel (even if they aren’t).

How long is it on for?

 

For 2024,  it will be open for entries until the end of June, and the winners session will take place in July, August, September or October, if its successful for a 2nd time then it will return once again for 2025 same timeframe..
